Report: NBA satisfied with Kirilenko's Nets contract

The NBA has concluded that there were no improper agreements made during Andrei Kirilenko's move to the Brooklyn Nets earlier this year, according to reports.

The forward opted out of the final year of his deal with the Minnesota Timberwolves to join the Nets, taking a pay cut of almost $7m (£4.4m).

The New York Post claims that several teams complained to the league over the contract, but that an investigation cleared the club of any wrong-doing.

CBS Sports reports that Kirilenko's agent said that the 32-year-old was willing to take a pay cut to move to a side that could contend with a championship.
