Pierce: 'Nets can't afford mistakes'

Paul Pierce has said that the Brooklyn Nets cannot afford to make mistakes after retaking the lead in their playoff series against the Toronto Raptors.

The Nets beat their Atlantic Division rivals 102-98 in the third game of their first-round meeting to take a 2-1 lead.

The small forward told reporters: "It feels good to win, but at the same time you know you can be a lot better.

"I'm looking for down the road, I'm looking for when it's like that game six or seven, if we're ever in that situation with this team, it's going to come to those little things and we can't afford those small mistakes."

The team play again in Brooklyn tomorrow.
