NBA roundup: Indiana Pacers continue unbeaten streak

Sports Mole rounds up all the action from Monday night's games in the NBA.

The Indiana Pacers beat the Memphis Grizzlies 95-79 on Monday night to extend their unbeaten run to eight games in the NBA.

Paul George scored 23 points for the hosts, while Lance Stephenson recorded the first triple-double of his career as the Pacers eased to a convincing victory at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse.

The San Antonio Spurs cruised to a 109-85 triumph over the Philadelphia 76ers, with Danny Green scoring 18 points and Tony Parker adding 14 more.

A 19-point advantage for the Spurs at half time proved to be crucial as Philadelphia lost their third home game of the season.

Al Horford scored 13 of his 24 points in a strong third quarter performance from the Atlanta Hawks, who beat the Charlotte Bobcats 103-94 at the Time Warner Cable Arena.

Steve Clifford returned to coach the Bobcats for the first time since having two stents placed in his heart on Friday but his presence was not enough to inspire the hosts to hold on for the win.

The Boston Celtics recorded their fourth successive win with a 120-105 triumph over the Orlando Magic, whose run without a victory on the road stretches to four games.

Avery Bradley hit 10 of his 15 shots on his way to 24 points as the Celtics beat the Magic for the second time in four days.

The Cleveland Cavaliers have still not recorded an away success this season following a 96-81 defeat to the Chicago Bulls.

Carlos Boozer scored 17 points for the Bulls but the hosts were dealt a blow in the fourth quarter when Derrick Rose was taken off with an injured hamstring.

The Houston Rockets needed two periods of overtime to claim a 110-104 over the Toronto Raptors, with Jeremy Lin making a vital contribution of 31 points off the bench.

Houston blew a second-half lead to allow the Raptors to force overtime but the hosts held on for their fifth win of the campaign.

A 30-13 success in the fourth quarter earned the Denver Nuggets a 100-81 victory from their game against the Utah Jazz at the EnergySolutions Arena.

Ty Lawson scored 17 points for the Nuggets, while Kenneth Faried recorded 15 points and 13 rebounds to condemn the Jazz to their eight defeat in a row.

A late fightback from the Detroit Pistons was not enough to help them avoid a 109-103 loss to the Portland Trail Blazers.

Brandon Jennings scored 25 points for the Pistons, who have lost both of their away games this season.

Blake Griffin scored 25 points and Chris Paul added 21 more as the Los Angeles Clippers held on for a 109-107 victory over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

Kevin Love had the chance to force overtime at the Staples Center but he missed a tip-in at the buzzer to hand the win to the Clippers.
