Kyle Korver replaces injured Dwyane Wade in All-Star game

Atlanta Hawks guard Kyle Korver is selected to replace the injured Dwyane Wade in Sunday's All-Star game.

Atlanta Hawks guard Kyle Korver has been called up to this weekend's NBA All-Star game.

Korver had missed out on a place in the initial fan voting, but an injury to Miami Heat's Dwyane Wade created a spot on the Eastern Conference roster.

NBA commissioner Adam Silver made the decision to replace Wade with three-point specialist Korver, who is averaging 12.9 points per game for Atlanta.

The 33-year-old's inclusion in his first All-Star game means that the Hawks will have four players involved.

Jeff Teague, Al Horford and Paul Millsap were all selected as reserves by fans when the results were revealed last month.
