San Francisco 49ers activate Mario Manningham, Eric Wright

The San Francisco 49ers have confirmed that they have activated wide receiver Mario Manningham and cornerback Eric Wright to their roster.

Manningham was moved from the physically unable to perform list after he struggled throughout the off-season to recover from a knee injury he sustained last campaign.

While, Wright was on the non-football injury list for failing a physical after joining the club in August, but now both players are set to feature in the second half of Jim Harbaugh's side's season.

Defensive back Nnamdi Asomugha was released to make way for one of the players to return to the roster earlier today.
