Ben Roethlisberger: 'Exit talk was upsetting'

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger admits that talk of him asking to leave the club was upsetting to hear.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger has insisted that he did not ask for a trade from the club and has no idea where the rumours came from.

Reports over the weekend suggested that the 31-year-old wanted to leave the Steelers following their poor season.

"I'm tired of it," Roethlisberger told 93.7 The Fan. "It upsets me.

"I have no idea where it came from, and I wish I could find out where it came from because it's so stinking upsetting. It just fires me up. Where do people make this stuff up from?"

The Steelers are 3-6 in their season following their win over the Buffalo Bills.
