Bradford making steady progress in recovery

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Sam Bradford has revealed that he is making good progress in his recovery from a torn ACL in his side's off-season practices.

The 27-year-old sustained the injury last year when he was with the St Louis Rams and missed the entire 2014 season.

Bradford was traded to the Eagles in exchange for Nick Foles, and has admitted that he is making strides towards his recovery to feature in week one of the 2015 season.

"We are going to take it day-by-day [and] keep progressing," Bradford told reporters. "It's trending in the right direction.

"I've increased the workload the past couple of weeks and it's continued to feel great afterwards."

Bradford has thrown for 11,065 yards along with 59 touchdowns to 38 interceptions in his five-year NFL career.
