Rams 'exchange Bradford for Foles'

The St Louis Rams have agreed a trade deal to send quarterback Sam Bradford to the Philadelphia Eagles in exchange for signal-caller Nick Foles, according to reports.

Bradford was selected first overall by the Rams in the 2010 Draft, but struggled to live up to expectations at the NFC West side due to inconsistent displays and two torn ACL injuries.

Reports suggested that the Rams wanted Bradford to take a pay cut due to his high salary figure for the 2015 season, which he is said to have declined.

As a result, the Rams have traded the 27-year-old to the Eagles along with a fifth-round Draft pick to acquire Foles, while Chip Kelly's men have given away a fourth-round pick in 2015 as well as second-round selection in 2016, claim several media outlets.

Foles was voted to the Pro Bowl in the 2013 season after throwing 27 touchdowns to just two interceptions with the Eagles.
