Manning not worried about contract situation

New York Giants quarterback Eli Manning has insisted he has no qualms about entering the 2015 season in the final year of his contract with the club.

The 34-year-old guided the club to two Super Bowl wins in the 2007 and 2011 seasons, but has also struggled for consistency over the course of his NFL career.

Manning is poised to enter the final year of his contract with the Giants, but is content to enter the season with the situation unresolved, insisting that he is only focused on his game.

"I'm comfortable. I've got a job to do and that's to play football. That's my only concern," Manning told reporters.

"I've never got too caught up with contract stuff. Way I look at it, I have one more year and I'm gonna play that year and go from there."

Manning threw for 4,410 yards and 30 touchdowns to 14 interceptions for the Giants last season.
