Coughlin slams Giants following costly turnovers

New York Giants head coach Tom Coughlin has slammed his side for their costly turnovers in their defeat to the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Giants held a 21-3 lead at the break in their clash, but at the start of the second half Eli Manning fumbled the ball and JT Thomas ran the ball in for a touchdown.

Jacksonville battled their way back into the game following another fumble from Rashad Jennings, which Aaron Colvin returned for a score, which allowed the Jaguars to seize the comeback win.

Coughlin told reporters: "Two turnovers for touchdowns? We could have knelt on the ball in the second half and had a better chance to win. Make people work for it, at least."

The Giants are 3-9 in their season following their defeat to the Jaguars.
