Half-Time Report: Four field goals give the New York Giants the advantage

Field goals give Giants the advantage

The New York Giants are leading NFC East rivals the Philadelphia Eagles 12-0 at the interval.

Four Jason Brown field goals are to thank for their lead, with two efforts in each half finding the target.

Separate strikes from 40, 44, 33 and 46 yards were all deemed good, giving the visitors a 12-point cushion at Lincoln Financial Field.

A hamstring strain which has caused Eagles quarterback Michael Vick some trouble in recent weeks has seen him leave the field, to be replaced by third-string rookie Matt Barkley.

Vick's usual replacement Nick Foles is also injured.
