New Orleans Saints place Parys Haralson on injured reserve

The New Orleans Saints have announced that they have placed linebacker Parys Haralson on their injured reserve list.

The 29-year-old sustained a chest injury, believed to be a torn pectoral muscle, in his side's playoff win over the Philadelphia Eagles and will now miss the rest of the campaign after being placed on IR.

Sean Payton's side also released safety Isa Abdul-Quddus from their roster and replaced him with free agent defensive back Jordan Pugh.

The Saints face the Seattle Seahawks in the Divisional Round of the NFC playoffs on Saturday.
