The New England Patriots announce that they will be without starting defensive backs Alfonzo Dennard and Steve Gregory against the Carolina Panthers.

The New England Patriots have announced that defensive backs Steve Gregory and Alfonzo Dennard are out of their clash with the Carolina Panthers.

Gregory sustained a broken thumb in his side's win over the Pittsburgh Steelers and has failed to practise in the two weeks since.

Meanwhile, Dennard has been limited with a knee injury this week and missed his team's training session on Saturday and as a result has been ruled out of the game on Monday against the Panthers along with Gregory.

The Patriots are 7-2 going into week 11.
