Jacksonville Jaguars' Allen Hurns taken to hospital

Jacksonville Jaguars wide receiver Allen Hurns has been taken to hospital after sustaining a concussion in the team's game against the San Diego Chargers.

The 24-year-old hit his head on the turf while diving for the ball in the fourth quarter of the contest, before being stretchered off the field several minutes later.

The AFC South side quickly announced that he would not be returning to the game, and that he would be taken to a nearby hospital for further evaluation.

Hurns had 716 receiving yards and seven touchdowns coming into today's game.
