Jason Garrett: "We have immense respect for Andy Reid"

Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett admits that he has a massive amount of "respect" for Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid.

Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett believes that his side will be in for a tough test against the Kansas City Chiefs.

The Chiefs got off to a great start under new coach Andy Reid with a 28-2 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars in week one.

Garrett and the Cowboys are familiar with Reid following his 14-year spell as head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas's NFC East rivals.

He told reporters: "You watch that tape and they're a good team. Obviously Andy Reid is an outstanding football coach. He's put this program in place up in Kansas City.

"The colours are different, but we've gone against him a lot, and we have an immense amount of respect for him and what he's done and the kind of program he'll put together.

"It does not surprise me one bit he's gone in there and had the success he had [last Sunday]."

Dallas are 1-0 after beating the New York Giants in their season opener.
