Jonathan Stewart moved to Carolina Panthers active roster

The Carolina Panthers have confirmed that they have activated running back Jonathan Stewart to their roster from the physically unable to perform list.

Stewart has missed all of his side's games this campaign after being placed on the PUP list in the off-season after undergoing ankle surgery.

However, he has returned to practice in the past couple of weeks and now his side have deemed him fit enough for action for the latter half of the campaign.

The Panthers face the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday.
