Buffalo Bills confirm Matt Flynn signing

The Buffalo Bills confirm that they have completed a deal to sign free agent quarterback Matt Flynn following his release by the Oakland Raiders.

The Buffalo Bills have confirmed that they have signed free agent quarterback Matt Flynn.

The 28-year-old was without a club following his release by the Oakland Raiders last week and has joined Doug Marrone's side because of injuries to EJ Manuel and Thad Lewis.

"I'm extremely excited to be here," Flynn told the club's official website. "I think it's a great opportunity.

"I get to come in and learn a different offense and just get to keep playing and that's the main thing.

"Just being around here all day and I enjoyed being around the town, I enjoyed being around the guys just seeing everything, the facilities and everything like that. I'm excited and I'm ready to start digging into the playbook."

The Bills are 2-4 in their season following their defeat to the Cincinnati Bengals.
