Baltimore Ravens' Joe Flacco disappointed with Ben Roethlisberger injury

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco admits that he is disappointed by the injury sustained by Ben Roethlisberger which has ruled him out of their match.

Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco has revealed that he is disappointed that he will not be facing Ben Roethlisberger when his side play the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Roethlisberger was ruled out for a minimum of six weeks after suffering an MCL sprain and bone bruise in his side's win over St Louis Rams after being hit by Mark Barron.

Flacco has admitted that he hates seeing a fellow quarterback on the sidelines and is hopeful that Roethlisberger can return to the field in the near future.

"As a competitor, it's always nice to face guys that you've been going against for a while," Flacco told reporters.

"You never like to see somebody injured either, and have to sit out. Hopefully everything is going well with [Roethlisberger], and he'll be out there as quickly as possible."

The Ravens face the Steelers in their AFC North clash on Thursday.
