Daniel Bryan to meet Kane at next PPV

WWE world heavyweight champion Daniel Bryan will return to action when he defends his title against Kane at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view later this month.

Daniel Bryan will defend his WWE world heavyweight title against Kane in either a Ladder Match or a Stretcher Match at the Money in the Bank pay-per-view on June 29.

The champion was expected to vacate his title after undergoing neck surgery last month, but it was announced on Monday Night Raw that the strap will be on the line at the next PPV event.

Bryan is still nursing his injury and hasn't competed since he beat the 'Big Red Monster' at Extreme Rules on May 4, but will will now face Kane in a rematch after he refused to vacate the championship at the Payback PPV event on Sunday.

However, if Bryan isn't legitimately cleared to wrestle, then he will be stripped of the title and a Ladder Match will be held to crown a new holder.

The 33-year-old won the title at WrestleMania XXX back in April.
