Bath confirm that they will investigate reports that new signing Gavin Henson was knocked out by a teammate in a pub brawl earlier this week.

Bath have announced that the club will investigate reports that Gavin Henson was knocked out by one of his teammates earlier this week.

A video emerged earlier today which appeared to show the 31-year-old, who joined Bath last month, being punched in a pub in the city.

A statement from the Aviva Premiership side said: "Bath Rugby can confirm there was a minor incident in the city centre on Wednesday night involving a few members of the playing squad.

"The club are investigating the matter as a priority and will only make a statement when further information is available."

Avon and Somerset Police have confirmed that they were contacted about the incident, but did not attend.
