Adnan Januzaj misses out on BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year final three

Manchester United youngster Adnan Januzaj misses the cut for the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year award.

Manchester United youngster Adnan Januzaj has failed to make the final three for the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year award.

The 18-year-old was originally named on the shortlist for the honour following his impressive surge into United's first-team squad under manager David Moyes.

However, according to The Independent, Januzaj was left out in favour of athlete Dina Asher-Smith, golfer Charley Hull and shooter Amber Hill.

The final three contenders were announced on Blue Peter today.
