Chelsea striker Fernando Torres has taken some time away from matters on the pitch by filming a commercial for American retailer Foot Locker.

The Spain international had a difficult start to his Chelsea career, but has been in positive form of late by netting three goals in as many matches.

Arguably, Torres has appeared to be in a better mood of late, and he carried that into his filming commitments, according to pictures posted by the Daily Mail.

The Spain international was photographed volleying basketballs and trying his hand at DJ-ing, before crowd surfing among some adoring fans for the ad.

Torres has been ruled out of tomorrow's Champions League clash against Schalke with an injury.
