McLaren 'to announce 2015 driver lineup in Thursday press conference'

McLaren will reportedly announce tomorrow whether Jenson Button or Kevin Magnussen will retain their seats for the 2015 Formula 1 season.

Jenson Button's future at McLaren will reportedly become clear tomorrow after the Formula 1 team announced plans to hold a press conference on Thursday.

The Woking-based outfit have been deliberating over the last few weeks who will occupy the two seats for the 2015 season.

Fernando Alonso is widely expected to be confirmed as one of the drivers after the Spaniard left Ferrari at the end of last season.

According to BBC Sport, McLaren will announce tomorrow whether Kevin Magnussen or 2009 world champion Jenson Button will partner Alonso in the new campaign.

Button, who has raced for McLaren for the last four years, came to the end of his contract once the season was over.
