Italian teenager Simone Pafundi could reportedly make the move to Manchester United in the near future.

The 18-year-old is contracted to Italian giants Udinese, but he is currently on loan at Swiss Super League outfit Lausanne Sport, and he is expected to join the club on a permanent basis this summer.

Lausanne are believed to be able to sign him permanently for €15m (£12.9m), and according to Tuttomercatoweb, the Swiss outfit are preparing to trigger the clause.

The report, though, claims that Pafundi is destined to make the move to Man United in the not too distant future due to the presence of Sir Jim Ratcliffe.

Arsenal midfielder Jorginho has claimed that it was an easy decision to sign a new contract at the Emirates after the Gunners announced his renewal.

The Italy international, who was due to become a free agent at the end of the season, was confirmed to have extended his terms on Thursday and is now understood to be tied down to the club until 2025.

Jorginho brought title-winning nous and years of experience to North London upon his arrival from Chelsea last January, and he has now appeared for the Gunners on 51 occasions in all tournaments.

The 32-year-old has scored one goal and set up three more in the process and has been a useful option in the number six position, thereby allowing Declan Rice to be deployed in a more advanced area.

Arsenal have confirmed that one of their experienced midfield heads has signed a new deal at the Emirates.

Former Chelsea Champions League winner Jorginho has formed an integral part of Mikel Arteta's squad since arriving in the final knockings of the January 2023 window, making 51 appearances for the club in all tournaments.

The Italy international has scored one goal and set up three more in that time while also earning numerous plaudits for his composed performances in the number six role, particularly in 2024.

Jorginho put in man-of-the-match displays in home victories over Newcastle United and Liverpool, and his exploits as Arsenal's deepest-lying midfielder have allowed Declan Rice to thrive in a box-to-box role.

The 17-year-old made his first-team debut for the Catalan giants in January and has now featured on 20 occasions in all competitions for Xavi's team during the 2023-24 campaign.

There had been speculation surrounding Cubarsi's future, with Manchester United and Manchester City said to be among a number of clubs keeping an eye on his situation.

The centre-back's previous deal is thought to have included a release clause of €10m (£8.6m), placing Barcelona in a difficult position heading towards the summer transfer window.

Arsenal 'pushing to agree new deal with 29-goal striker'

Arsenal are reportedly fighting tooth and nail to keep one of their highest-rated attackers at the club amid fears that he could soon walk out of the door.

Sixteen-year-old Chido Obi Martin made headlines around Europe when he scored a phenomenal 10 goals in one game against Liverpool last November, while playing for the Under-16s.

The Danish-born attacker has since continued to make nets bulge at an astonishing rate at Under-18 level, coming up with a staggering 29 goals in just 17 games in the top flight this season.

Obi Martin is unsurprisingly by far and away the highest scorer in the 2023-24 Under-18 Premier League, and he has taken home a plethora of match balls, notching three or more goals on five occasions.

Man United 'to hold concrete talks with Palace star in coming weeks'

Crystal Palace's Michael Olise celebrates scoring their first goal on May 6, 2024

Manchester United reportedly plan to hold concrete discussions with one of the jewels in the Crystal Palace crown in the coming weeks.

The Red Devils were torn to shreds in a 4-0 beatdown on the Eagles' Selhurst Park turf on Monday evening, where France Under-21 international Michael Olise scored a brace.

The former Reading attacker firstly benefitted from shocking Man United defending to open the scoring, receiving Daniel Munoz's throw-in just inside the United half, skipping past Casemiro and firing low into the bottom corner as the visitors' defence backed off.

The Munoz-Olise combination also worked a treat in the second half, as the former robbed the dilly-dallying Casemiro of the ball close to the Red Devils' box and laid off Olise, who fired a stunning strike past Andre Onana.

Chelsea have reportedly taken a major step towards signing one of their top teenage targets, who has verbally agreed personal terms with the Blues.

Seventeen-year-old Estevao Willian has burst onto the scene for club and country over the past few months and has now made 14 senior appearances for Brazilian giants Palmeiras in all competitions.

Estevao has contributed three goals and one assist in that time, netting once in each of the Copa Libertadores, Copa do Brasil and Brasileiro during the 2024 campaign so far.

Before making waves in the Palmeiras first team, the 2007-born attacker shone for Brazil at last year's Under-17 World Cup, where he struck three goals and set up three more in five matches to help his country reach the quarter-finals.

Netherlands international 'interested in Man United move'

Manchester United have reportedly been handed a boost regarding their transfer business during the summer transfer window.

On the back of Sir Jim Ratcliffe becoming minority owner and leading footballing operations, United are expected to be busy from next month onwards.

The funds that they have at their disposal may be dependent on how they fare during the closing seven days of the season, where they face Arsenal, Manchester United and Brighton & Hove Albion.

United could require a positive return from those fixtures to secure European qualification through the Premier League, although they do have the opportunity to win the FA Cup as an alternative route.
