Genoa frontman Ze Eduardo is believed to be poised to have a medical at West Ham United ahead of a loan move to the Championship side.
The Hammers have been eager to bring a new addition to Upton Park during this transfer window with Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic and Jordan Rhodes being touted as possible targets.
It is understood that the striker has arrived in England and will join the former Premier League side on a temporary switch with a view to a permanent move, according to Sky Sports News.
The 24-year-old moved to Genoa from Santos a year ago.
