Diego Poyet: 'West Ham United deserve success'

Diego Poyet insists that West Ham deserve their success following a strong start to the season.

West Ham United midfielder Diego Poyet has insisted that the team deserve their success this season.

The high-flying Hammers occupy fourth place in the Premier League table following a blistering start to the new campaign.

While doubts remain over their staying power, Poyet is hopeful that Sam Allardyce's side can continue their recent form and challenge for European football.

"We're absolutely flying," he told the club's official website. "The boys are buzzing and they deserve it. Everyone's worked hard this season, we deserve everything we've got and hopefully that continues, the performances and the results."

West Ham are back in action on Saturday when they travel to Sunderland in the league.
