Jonny Evans: 'West Bromwich Albion can qualify for Europe in the next two years'

Jonny Evans is confident that West Brom can qualify for European football under Tony Pulis in the near future.

Jonny Evans has insisted that West Bromwich Albion can qualify for European football under Tony Pulis in the next two years.

The former Manchester United defender joined the side in the summer and is looking to help push the club up the table.

The Baggies finished 13th last season but were originally struggling above the relegation zone before Pulis's arrival, which gives Evans the belief that his side can now make some progress.

"Any team from last year, when the manager came in, I think West Brom were around the relegation zone," Evans told Sky Sports News.

"I think having survived that, you want to push on and get into the top 10, maybe even if things go well this year reaching Europe - or maybe that can come next year."

West Brom are currently 12th in the table and face Roberto Martinez's Everton this weekend.
