Team News: Two changes for Watford against Stoke City

Watford make two changes for the visit of Stoke City this afternoon.

Watford have made two changes for the visit of Stoke City this afternoon.

Roberto Pereyra misses out with a hamstring injury sustained in the 4-2 loss to Chelsea last weekend, with Andre Carrillo taking his place.

Etienne Capoue is the other player to come in, taking a place in defensive midfield at the expense of the benched Adrian Mariappa.

Mark Hughes, meanwhile, has gone for three changes to the side that were beaten by Bournemouth last time out.

Xherdan Shaqiri returns from injury to start, with Kevin Wimmer and Ramadan Sobhi also involved from the outset.

Jese, Glen Johnson and Geoff Cameron are the players to make way, while Peter Crouch and Bruno Martins Indi are absent from the squad with back and calf problems respectively.

Stoke City: Butland; Zouma, Shawcross, Wimmer; Diouf, Allen, Fletcher, Pieters; Shaqiri, Ramadan; Choupo-Moting
