Morning all. So, who will your club sign today? Be sure that we will keep you updated with all the latest news. Southampton fans may want to look away, though, because it seems that your club may lose another two players today, taking the departures tally for the summer to 12!

Before we delve into today's news and speculation, let's take a look at some of the stories that have been making the headlines over the last few hours:

Marouane Fellaini's camp hold talks with Napoli?
Tottenham Hotspur close in on loan deal for Miguel Lopes?
Aston Villa lineup Victor Moses move?
Borussia Dortmund ponder Shinji Kagawa move?
Free agent Carlos Cuellar a target for Blackburn Rovers?

If even more headlines is your thing, you can check out our 8am Transfer Talk Update.

No news of any completed deals right now, but 18 years ago today, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was signing for Manchester United. It would turn out to be the best £1.5m that Sir Alex Ferguson ever spent during his time in charge at Old Trafford.

Manchester United's reported pursuit of Arturo Vidal has taken another twist today, according to speculation in Chile. It's been claimed this morning that the Juventus midfielder has verbally agreed a switch to Old Trafford, with a fee now needed to be agreed between the two clubs.

From United to Arsenal and a potential new contract for Olivier Giroud. A report in France believes that the striker is to be offered a two-year extension, which would tie him to the Emirates Stadium until the summer of 2018.

Staying in London and it would appear that a battle is underway for Mathieu Valbuena, who impressed with France at the World Cup. The winger is thought to want to leave Marseille this summer, which has alerted both West Ham United and Queens Park Rangers, according to The Guardian. Negotiations with both clubs are said to be well underway.

Liverpool fans - how would you feel about Daniel Agger leaving the club? Well, it seems that he is surplus to requirements at Anfield following the signing of Dejan Lovren. The Dane, according to a report in Spain, is bound for Barcelona, with a fee of £12m being paid.

And that is my first stint of the day completed. Coming up for the next couple of hours is Jack Prescott. Over to you, Jack.

Hello there! Right, let's bring you a bit of gossip coming out of the Bundesliga. Talks over a contract extension between Marco Reus and Borussia Dortmund have reportedly broken down. The 25-year-old's current deal at the Westfalenstadion is not due to expire until the summer of 2017, but Dortmund are believed to be keen to extend those terms, as well as his release clause, which is thought to stand at £28m.

Norwich City boss Neil Adams has revealed that he is eager to keep Leroy Fer and Gary Hooper at the club this summer. Both players have been linked with moves away from Carrow Road in recent weeks following the team's relegation to the Championship.

Blackburn Rovers are reportedly considering a move for former West Ham United defender Jordan Spence. The 24-year-old is currently a free agent after seeing his contract at Upton Park expire earlier this summer.

Birmingham City have completed the signing of Iran Under-21 international midfielder Navid Nasseri. The 18-year-old, who left Bury at the end of last season, has penned a one-year deal with the option of a further 12 months.

James McCarthy has refused to dismiss speculation that has linked him with a move to Manchester United. The Republic of Ireland international was regarded to be one of Everton's better players as Roberto Martinez's men finished fifth in the Premier League last term.

Napoli have reportedly stalled their move for Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini. Recent speculation had suggested that discussions had already taken place between the two clubs regarding the Belgium international's availability.

That's all from me for now, but Liam Apicella will be back on transfer duty for the next couple of hours to keep you updated with all of the latest developments from around the clubs. Enjoy!

BREAKING NEWS! Thanks Jack. Well, no chance of easing me in gently because West Ham have completed the signing of Enner Valencia. More to follow.

Our story regarding Valencia's switch to West Ham is developing here.

DONE DEAL! Another deal gets across the line, this time in Spain. Highly-rated France international Antoine Griezmann has left Real Sociedad to join Atletico Madrid on a six-year contract. The story is developing here.

How is this for a rumour?! A report in Brazil has suggested that a certain Ronaldinho could soon be strutting his stuff in London with Queens Park Rangers. The 34-year-old is a free agent following his release by Atletico Mineiro yesterday.

DONE DEALS! Two new faces at Hull City

Hull have also taken the step of announcing the transfer fees:

And finally, here is our full story on the arrivals of Maguire and Robertson at the KC Stadium.

DONE DEAL! There has been a revolving door at Fulham this summer and it's still spinning. Iranian winger Ashkan Dejagah has left the club in favour of signing a two-year contract with Qatari club Al-Arabi. The Whites are going to be largely unrecognisable when they get the new Championship season underway to the side that were relegated last term.

That's me done for today, but I'll be leaving you in the capable hands of Jack Prescott for the next few hours. Over to you, Mr P.

Howdy! While Dundee United defender Andrew Robertson has join Hull City, the Scottish Premiership club has announced that Hull defender Conor Townsend has moved the other way on a season-long loan.

BREAKING NEWS! Good news if you're an Everton fan because Ross Barkley has signed a new four-year deal with the club. You can keep up to date with that developing story here.

Sunderland goalkeeper Costel Pantilimon has insisted that the club's fight against relegation last season did not put him off joining from Manchester City. The Romanian shotstopper, 27, left the Premier League champions for the Stadium of Light last month.

Everton have been holding a rather grand press conference to announce the news that Ross Barkley has signed a new four-year deal. Here are some quotes from the man himself:

"It means everything. It's a dream playing for Everton. Today signing a new contract is a great thing for me.

"As soon as I got told about it I just knew I would sign a contract. I didn't take any persuading. I'm settled in at Everton [and] we have to push on now from here."

New Juventus head coach Massimiliano Allegri has insisted that Arturo Vidal has given no indication that he would like to leave the club this summer. A report in Vidal's native Chile this morning claimed that the 27-year-old had verbally agreed a switch to Manchester United.

BREAKING NEWS! More transfer developments coming out of Merseyside with Liverpool signing striker Divock Origi from Lille. The 19-year-old Belgian international will return to the French club on loan for the upcoming season. You can read more about that move here.

Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers has given his reaction to the signing of Origi, claiming that the youngster can be "one of the most exciting talents in world football". Read what else the Reds boss has had to say here.

Nottingham Forest have announced the signing of former Birmingham City winger Chris Burke on a two-year deal. The 30-year-old moves to the City Ground as a free agent after seeing his contract expire with Birmingham earlier this summer.

Nottingham Forest midfielder Radoslaw Majewski has agreed to join Huddersfield Town on a season-long loan. The Poland international moved to Forest from Polonia Warsaw in 2010 following a temporary spell at the City Ground.

Middlesbrough are understood to be interested in a move for Chelsea youngster George Saville. The 21-year-old midfielder spent last season on loan at Brentford, helping the Bees gain promotion to the Championship.

That's all from me for today, but Chris O'Keefe will now be with you for the next few hours to guide you through all of the latest news and gossip from the summer transfer window. Enjoy!

Cheers Jack. If you are looking to keep up to date with all the latest transfer news from this afternoon in one place, feel free to peruse our 7pm Transfer Talk Update here. Alternatively, you can stay with me for the next few hours as we keep watch on all the comings and goings at home and abroad. The choice is yours!

We'll start with Nathan Delfouneso. Remember him? The 23-year-old was released by Aston Villa at the end of last season and had an unsuccessful stint on-loan at Coventry City. Well, he has now agreed a 12-month deal with crisis club Blackpool.

He is now the 12th player on the books of the Tangerines, so they are only a handful of players from filling their substitutes bench, with the Championship opener against Nottingham Forest on August 9 to look forward to.

One new signing who enjoyed a scoring start is ex-Barcelona and Ajax forward Bojan Krjic. He netted for his new club Stoke City in their friendly away to Schalke, but the Potters ended up losing 2-1 in Germany.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has told a Croatian newspaper that he tried to sign Luka Modric before turning his attentions to Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas.

He told Sportske Novosti: "I called Modric only privately but he doesn't want [to join] Chelsea. You know I really appreciate Luka Modric and his qualities, but he stays in Real Madrid."

Speaking of Real Madrid players, newly-signed Arsenal keeper David Ospina has claimed that Colombian teammate James Rodriguez deserves his move to the Champions League winners. Rodriguez moved to the Bernabeu for a fee reported to be around £60m.

Back in the Premier League, Southampton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin has expressed his unhappiness with the club's unwillingness to let him move this summer. Both he and forward Jay Rodriguez were the latest players to be linked with a move away from St Mary's. Schneiderlin vented his anger on Twitter this evening.

One player who could be leaving the Premier League altogether is Hatem Ben Arfa. Reports in Italy suggest that the Frenchman is attracting interest from AC Milan, with the Rossoneri set to bid around £12m.

Super Pippo took over the reins from Dutchman Clarence Seedorf earlier this year.

Meanwhile, back in Madrid (it's busy in the in and around the Spanish capital tonight). Argentine midfielder Lucas Biglia is apparently wanted by the European champions Real Madrid. At least, that's according to the Lazio player's agent.

Enzo Montepaone told lalaziosiamonoi "He is still on vacation and hasn't thought about how to begin the new season. In Belgium he always played in the Champions League, so not taking part in these competitions means he doesn't feel complete.

"When a player like this makes his mark, it is natural there is interest in him. He belongs in a big team and we have received many requests. Real Madrid? Yes, it's true, we'll see what happens..."

Another new signing has got on the scoresheet for their new club! Bafetimbi Gomis scored a first half goal for Swansea City in their game at Exeter City. They still lead at St James's Park with around 15 minutes or so to do down in Devon.

We mentioned earlier about Morgan Schneiderlin's anger at Southampton's unwillingness to let him leave the club. Saints chairman Ralph Krueger has publicly promised manager Ronald Koeman funds to bolster his squad ahead of the new season.

Didier Drogba has praised Chelsea for bringing both Cesc Fabregas and Diego Costa to the club this summeer. Drogba rejoined the Blues in the past week, after a year at Turkish club Galatasaray.

Sticking with Galatasaray, club president Unal Ansay has reassured fans that midfielder Wesley Sneijder will not be leaving this summer. The Dutch international has been linked with a number of European sides

Elsewhere, Valencia are close to agreeing a £5m deal for Colombian Eder Alvarez Balanta, according to reports. Los Che may need to fill one of the non-EU quota, however, as the River Plate defender does not have a European passport. Balanta is also said to have caught the eye of West Ham and Liverpool.

Some brief managerial merry-go-round action. Ex-Brazil coach Luiz Felipe Scolari has been appointed manager of Gremio. However, Argentina boss Alejandro Sabella is widely reported as having stepped down from his position after losing this month's World Cup Final to Germany.

Everton have been heavily linked with a permanent move for Romelu Lukaku in recent weeks and quotes out of Italy appear to boost the Toffees' hopes of securing his services as sources close to the player suggest that the Belgian forward is happy to stay in England.

My stint in the Transfer Talk hotseat for this evening has come to an end, but fear not! Joe Fish is on hand to take you through the next three hours as the global transfer merry-go-round shows no sign of stopping (until September at least).

That's right Chris, I'm your man for transfer speculation over the next three hours! Bosnian striker Edin Dzeko has revealed that is in talks with Manchester City about a new contract with the club.

One man who may not be on the move, though, is Aston Villa defender Ron Vlaar, who has been linked with Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton. The Netherlands World Cup star has revealed that he plans to meet with his agent to discuss the "various options" he has.

DONE DEAL! Coventry City have become Marcus Tudgay's fourth club in the space of 18 months. The experienced striker has earned a one-year contract with the League One outfit having impressed Sky Blues manager Steven Pressley during his time training with the club this summer.

Swansea City's stance on Wilfried Bony seems to be softening. Have initially stressed that the Ivorian is not for sale, Swans chairman Huw Jenkins has now conceded that they would consider selling the the 25-goal striker if the "right offer" came in. Liverpool and Spurs have been touted with an interest.

Former Arsenal keeper Manuel Almunia is expected to join Cagliari. The 37-year-old, who left Watford at the end of last season after a two-year spell at Vicarage Road, was reportedly spotted in Sardinia on Monday ahead of signing a contract with the Italians in the next 24 hours.

Edin Dzeko seems poised to commit his long-term future to Manchester City, and Yaya Toure appears ready to do the same despite his agent claiming earlier this summer that the Ivorian midfielder was looking to leave Eastlands. Toure now says that he wants to stay for "as long as possible".

That's it from Sports Mole's transfer talk for now. We will have news of more done deals, gossip and the latest goings on at Southampton from 9am tomorrow. Until then...
