Harry Redknapp praises mature Emmanuel Adebayor

Harry Redknapp praises Emmanuel Adebayor and his Tottenham Hotspur teammates for their mature attitudes.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Harry Redknapp has praised the maturity of his squad and Emmanuel Adebayor in particular.

The Togo striker moved to White Hart Lane on loan from Manchester City in August and has been one of Spurs' stand-out performers this season, scoring 14 goals including a brace in last week's 3-1 win over Swansea City.

Adebayor has caused unwanted controversy in the past. He was fined £25,000 and given a suspended two-match ban for taunting Arsenal fans during an overly elaborate goal celebration in 2009.

He then fell out with City boss Roberto Mancini, before being shipped out on loan deals to Real Madrid and now Spurs.

Redknapp has been delighted with Adebayor's impact this season, and feels that the forward and rest of the club's recent additions have shown terrific attitudes.

"[Adebayor] has done ever so well for us. He has not been a minute's problem," said Redknapp.

"Scott Parker, Brad Friedel, Ryan Nelsen are all fantastic professionals. You aren't looking around thinking 'Billy Big Head... what's he doing today? Where's he been? What's he up to?'

"There is no-one like that here. They are good lads. That's been the difference. They have been key signings for us. We changed things around a bit and Manu has come in and done the same."

Meanwhile, Redknapp has accused striker Mario Balotelli of being "a problem" for Mancini at the Etihad Stadium.
