Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino "confident" ahead of Man City clash

Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino believes that his team have a chance of beating Manchester City if they bring the same form that earned them a win over Southampton.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino believes that his team can continue their positive momentum when they face Manchester City on Saturday.

The North London outfit secured a 1-0 victory over Pochettino's former side Southampton prior to the international break.

Currently, there are three points separating Spurs and City in the Premier League table, with Tottenham in sixth and last season's champions in second place.

"We expect a tough game at City but we are confident in our skill and we'll try to get the points," Pochettino told reporters. "We need to reproduce the same feeling we had against Southampton, take that momentum and put it into practice against City."

Tottenham could move into the top four with a victory at the weekend.
