Preview: Sheffield Wednesday vs. Bournemouth

Sports Mole previews Saturday's Championship clash between Sheffield Wednesday and Bournemouth.

Struggling Sheffield Wednesday host Bournemouth on Saturday in the Championship as they look to claw themselves out of the bottom three.

Wednesday's previous game in midweek was postponed just before an hour was played due to a waterlogged pitch, and if Saturday's fixture goes ahead a win should see them move up the table.

Bournemouth have stuttered in recent months after a decent start, with just one win in nine league games having seen them slip to 17th.

Wednesday caretaker manager Stuart Gray has Giles Coke and Joe Mattock back in contention but could name the same lineup that played 60 minutes against Wigan.

Eddie Howe might use the same lineup for the third game running, although the 2-0 defeat to Birmingham City could tempt him into one or two changes for this away clash.

Recent form

Wednesday: LLLWLW

Bournemouth: DLDLWL

Possible starting lineups

Wednesday: Martinez; Palmer, Ro Johnson, Loovens, Re Johnson; Lee, Coke, Maghoma, Semedo, Helan; Wickham

Bournemouth: Camp; Francis, Elphick, Cook, Daniels; Ritchie, O'Kane, Pugh, Arter, Surman; Grabban

Sports Mole says: 0-0
