Julian Draxler eyes "long-term" Schalke stay

Julian Draxler insists that he is happy at Schalke and wants to carry on playing for the German club in the "long term".

Schalke winger Julian Draxler has insisted that he is happy playing for the German club.

The 20-year-old Germany international has recently been linked with a move to Manchester United next summer.

"A lot can happen in football but I have a long-term contract at Schalke and am happy in the Bundesliga," he told Bundesliga.com.

Draxler's current contract with the Royal Blues runs until June 2018.
