Sampdoria 1-1 Torino

Sampdoria continue their unbeaten start to the season with a 1-1 draw against Torino on Sunday.

Sampdoria have continued their unbeaten start to the season following a 1-1 draw against Torino on Sunday.

The home side had a fine chance to take the lead barely a minute in when Daniele Gastaldello met an Enzo Maresca cross, but he headed it wide of the target.

Both sides had chances as the half developed, with Rolando Bianchi firing wide of the target for Torino. Meanwhile, Maxi Lopez twice had attempts cleared.

The opening goal came after 69 minutes when Roberto Soriano felled Alessio Cerci in the box, allowing Bianchi to step forward and covert the penalty.

Sampdoria equalised with five minutes remaining, however, when Kamil Glik felled Eder in the box, allowing Nicola Pozzi the chance to level it for his side.
