Luka Modric in Real Madrid squad for Borussia Dortmund match

Luka Modric is part of Real Madrid's 23-man squad for Wednesday's clash against Borussia Dortmund, but Marcelo misses out due to injury.

Real Madrid coach Jose Mourinho has included playmaker Luka Modric in his 23-man squad for their Champions League clash against Borussia Dortmund.

The Croatian picked up a calf injury during Los Blancos' 3-1 home victory over Real Betis in La Liga on Saturday, but has travelled with his teammates to Germany for Wednesday's semi-final first-leg clash.

French striker Karim Benzema has also been included in the squad as he has recovered from the knock he suffered against Betis.

Full-back Marcelo, meanwhile, has been left behind in Madrid because of a thigh injury that he endured at the weekend.

Full Real Madrid squad:

Goalkeepers: Casillas, Lopez, Adan, Jesus
Defenders: Varane, Pepe, Ramos, Coentrao, Albiol, Carvalho, Nacho
Midfielders: Alonso, Khedira, Ozil, Kaka, Modric, Callejon, Di Maria, Casemiro
