Goalkeeper Alex Smithies will make his full Championship debut for Queens Park Rangers tonight against Blackburn Rovers.

Former Huddersfield Town man Smithies, 25, replaces Rob Green after he was sent off in Saturday's defeat by Nottingham Forest, while Jamie Mackie and Alejandro Faurlin make their return to the QPR bench.

Rovers have made just one change from their 2-0 loss to Fulham, with Bengali-Fode Koita coming in for Nathan Delfouneso.

Jason Lowe, Chris Brown and Chris Taylor are all still out injured for the Lancashire side.

QPR have won only one of their last 13 league meetings with Blackburn, drawing five and losing seven.
