Paris Saint-Germain ease past Bastia

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani both scored twice as PSG claimed a comfortable victory of Bastia.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Edinson Cavani both scored twice as Paris Saint-Germain swept Bastia aside in Ligue 1 on Saturday.

Ibrahimovic gave the hosts the lead in the tenth minute when Lucas Moura's cross was flicked on by Hervin Ongenda and the Swede finished with a stunning improvised volley.

Three minutes later Ibrahimovic had his second. Moura again provided the cross and the Sweden international had a free header to make it 2-0 after 13 minutes.

On 62 minutes Cavani increased the home side's lead with a wonderful solo goal after the Uruguay international rounded two Bastia defenders and the keeper before finishing from a tight angle.

The rout was complete when Cavani added a fourth from the penalty spot after Batia keeper Mickael Landreau brought down Lucas Digne in the area receiving a yellow card in the process.

The win is PSG's biggest of the season and has taken the champions to the top of Ligue 1.
