Paris Saint-Germain team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Lens

Sports Mole rounds up all of Paris Saint-Germain's latest injury and suspension news ahead of Saturday's Ligue 1 clash with Lens.

Paris Saint-Germain will aim to wrap up the Ligue 1 title with four games to spare when Lens pay a visit to the Parc des Princes on Saturday evening.

Mauricio Pochettino's side inched closer towards the title with a 3-0 midweek win over Angers, as Kylian Mbappe, Sergio Ramos and Marquinhos struck at the Stade Raymond Kopa.

Marseille's 3-2 victory over Nantes means that PSG could not confirm their status as French champions on Wednesday night, but victory over Lens will see Les Parisiens regain their rightful crown.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of PSG's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the clash with Franck Haise's side.

Lionel Messi

Status: Major doubt
Type of injury: Achilles
Possible return date: April 23 (vs. Lens)

Lionel Messi did not take part in the midweek win over Angers due to an inflamed Achilles tendon, and the seven-time Ballon d'Or winner remains a major doubt for Saturday's game at the time of writing.

Possible return date: April 23 (vs. Lens)

Presnel Kimpembe was another late absentee from the trip to the Stade Raymond Kopa after complaining of knee pain, and the French centre-back is facing a race against time to be fit for Saturday.

Marco Verratti

Status: Minor doubt
Type of injury: Hamstring
Possible return date: April 23 (vs. Lens)

Ander Herrera is due to return to team training before Saturday's game as he battles his way back from a hamstring issue and should therefore have a good chance of making the squad here.

Abdou Diallo

Possible return date: Unknown

Defender Abdou Diallo is still working his way back from a knee injury, and a date for the Senegal international to return to training has not been pencilled in, so he is likely to miss out here.
