Half-Time Report: Paris Saint-Germain, Montpellier level at break

Paris Saint-Germain and Montpellier both fail to break the deadlock in the first half of their Coupe de France tie.

Paris Saint-Germain and Montpellier HSC have headed into half time level following a goalless first half in the Coupe de France this evening.

The French champions saw the majority of the possession in the opening 10 minutes, with Marquinhos running at the Montpellier defence, but Jonathan Ligali made sure that the ball was cleared.

Nicolas Douchez had to remain alert down the other end as the home side started to see more of the ball, but the PSG keeper raced off his line to make sure Anthony Mounier did not get his shot away.

David Luiz had a chance to open the scoring for the visitors as he jumped to try to head in a cross, but Ligali beat him to the ball to keep the sides level.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Blaise Matuidi kept the pressure coming for PSG, but Bryan Dabo blocked the ball into the box, before the visitors' attack fizzled out in the final five minutes of the opening half.
