Parma striker Amauri has expressed his delight after his side booked their place in next season's Europa League.

The Gialloblu claimed a 2-0 win over Livorno this evening as they finished the season sixth in the Serie A table to beat Torino and AC Milan to the final European spot.

"I have no words," Forza Italian Football quotes Amauri as saying. "This week I was hoping to get a goal and I managed to do it.

"I'm happy for my family and for the fans.I was looking to get on, I did and I scored. It was such a great feeling to do.

"I'm really happy. These are the rewards the team gets after putting in the hard work, now I want to play in the Europa League."
