Notts County have signed Birmingham City midfielder Hayden Mullins on loan until the end of the season.

The 34-year-old, whose contract with the Championship club expires in the summer, is Shaun Derry's second deadline-day signing, after left-back Gareth Roberts signed with the Meadow Lane outfit earlier today.

Mullins, who has played seven times for Birmingham this season, began his career at Crystal Palace.

The versatile veteran has also played for West Ham United, Reading and Portsmouth, where he claimed an FA Cup runner-up medal against Chelsea in 2010.
