Radoslaw Majewski scores the only goal of the first half as Nottingham Forest take a 1-0 lead over Sheffield Wednesday into the break.

Radoslaw Majewski has given Nottingham Forest a 1-0 lead going into half time of their Championship match against Sheffield Wednesday at Hillsborough this afternoon.

The hosts had the first good chance of the match when Connor Wickham's header forced a save out of Karl Darlow.

It was Forest who took the lead, however, when they worked the ball across Wednesday's defence before finding a way through to Majewski, who gave Chris Kirkland no chance with his finish.

Kirkland was called into action again soon after as Dexter Blackstock raced through on goal, but the Owls keeper was alert to deny the striker.

Forest continued to have the better of the half, but couldn't find a second as the sides went into the interval with one goal separating them.
