Preview: Norwich City vs. Newcastle United

Sports Mole previews the Premier League encounter between Norwich City and Newcastle United at Carrow Road.

Whenever reports have suggested that Chris Hughton is on the verge of being sacked, his Norwich City players have gone out and collected three points.

They did just that last time out against Hull City, which moved the Canaries five points clear of the Premier League relegation zone.

Hughton's team play host to Newcastle United at Carrow Road tomorrow night, which will mean that Jonas Gutierrez is unavailable for selection due to loan rules between Premier League clubs. Injuries will also prevent Michael Turner and Jonny Howson from featuring.

Meanwhile, the visiting Magpies will be without Argentine defender Fabricio Coloccini because of a knee ligament complaint.

It also remains to be seen if Yohan Cabaye will be among the Newcastle starting lineup. The midfielder was recently the reported subject of a failed bid from Paris Saint-Germain, who have been tipped to submit a second offer shortly.

Newcastle have not won in Norfolk since January 1994 - a run of results that dates back four encounters.
