Half-Time Report: Reading ahead against Millwall

Sean Morrison gives Reading a 1-0 half-time lead against Millwall.

Reading are 1-0 up against Millwall at half time, thanks to a goal from their captain.

Sean Morrison headed the hosts in front early on but it has been Millwall who have created the better chances in the opening 45 minutes.

Millwall started well with Martyn Waghorn almost scoring early on, but went behind after just seven minutes when Morrison headed in Jordan Obita's free kick for Reading.

The visitors were not deterred though and continued to press forward. Waghorn went close once more midway through the half after a quick counter-attack, before Jack Smith combined with Scott McDonald on the right and almost released Liam Trotter.

Morrison almost doubled his tally just before the break with a rasping drive, but was denied by David Forde.
