Chelsea reportedly enter the race for Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani, who is attracting interest from several European clubs.

Chelsea have reportedly entered the race to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Randal Kolo Muani.

The 24-year-old has been linked with a move away from Frankfurt, just one year after arriving on a free transfer from Nantes.

Kolo Muani made an instant impact for the German club, scoring 23 goals and providing 17 assists in 46 appearances across all competitions.

The Frenchman's impressive performances have led to interest from a number of European clubs, including Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

Paris Saint-Germain are also interested in bringing the forward back to his native France, with a recent report suggesting that the Parisians were leading the pursuit for his signature.

According to French outlet RMC Sport, Chelsea are another club that are interested in a move for the Frankfurt striker.

After finishing the 2022-23 campaign as the joint fifth-lowest scorers in the Premier League, Chelsea have attempted to solve their goalscoring woes with the additions of Christopher Nkunku and Nicolas Jackson.

However, they are seemingly keen to add further reinforcements to their frontline, especially with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Romelu Lukaku expected to depart this summer.

Chelsea are hoping to sell Aubameyang to a Saudi Arabian club, while Juventus appears to be a likely destination for Lukaku after a move to Inter Milan fell through.

In addition to Chelsea, London rivals Tottenham Hotspur are also believed to be keeping tabs on Kolo Muani's situation.

Spurs are hoping to retain the services of their talisman Harry Kane, who faces an uncertain future after entering the final 12 months of his contract.

Tottenham are reluctant to sell amid interest from the likes of Bayern, Manchester United, PSG, and Real Madrid.

If the England captain was to depart during the current transfer window then Tottenham could turn their attention to Kolo Muani.

With four years left to run on his Frankfurt contract, the Bundesliga side are in a strong position when it comes to negotiating a transfer fee.
