Joe Hart: 'I enjoy playing under pressure'

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart reveals that he enjoys playing in high-pressure situations for club and country.

Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart has insisted that playing under pressure is "all part of the fun".

Hart is currently trying to help Manchester City win their second Premier League title, and ahead of their highly-anticipated fixture with rivals Liverpool, the England stopper has revealed that he relishes the opportunity to compete under pressure.

The 26-year-old told The Times: "I know that there is a lot riding on every game with us. I live for playing at Anfield. It is an amazing place. I watched the game against Tottenham Hotspur and the belief has taken off.

"But that is what I live for. I am lucky to play in those situations. I like that pressure. It is my job. It is my life. It is all part of the fun."

City, who have two games in hand on Liverpool, will move to within one point of the Reds with a victory on Merseyside.
