Brendan Rodgers has named an unchanged starting lineup for Liverpool's Premier League clash with Manchester City this afternoon.

Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge continue to lead the attack for the league leaders, while Raheem Sterling is preferred to Joe Allen in midfield.

Meanwhile, Vincent Kompany has overcome an injury scare to take his place in the visitors' starting team.

The only change to the team that beat Southampton 4-1 last weekend sees Aleksandr Kolarov dropped, with Gael Clichy coming in, while Sergio Aguero is named among the substitutes.
