Rio Ferdinand critical of empty seats at Manchester City Champions League game

Rio Ferdinand has criticised Manchester City fans for not selling out the Etihad for their Champions League group game with Roma.

Rio Ferdinand has criticised the number of empty seats at the Etihad for Manchester City's Champions League clash with Roma on Tuesday night, claiming that some fans would rather be at home watching "Ramsay's Kitchen" on TV.

City played out a 1-1 draw with the Italian giants in Group E, with Francesci Totti cancelling out an early Sergio Aguero penalty.

Ferdinand, who spent over a decade at Manchester United, was quick to point out that sections of the stadium were not sold out.
