Ruben Garcia's strike gives Levante the win against Sevilla in La Liga this evening.

Levante have beaten Sevilla 1-0 at Estadio Ciudad de Valencia this evening.

Ruben Garcia's 40th-minute goal gave the home side the points in La Liga to move them above their opponents to 10th.

Garcia's goal arrived five minutes before half time when he danced past three defenders before lashing a strike beyond Beto into the top corner.

Alvaro Negredo spurned a great opportunity to equalise with five minutes left, but the Spanish striker could only fire wide from five yards out.

Negredo had another chance deep into stoppage time, but his shot was saved by Gustavo Munua.
