Stalemate between Granada, Osasuna

Granada and Osasuna play out a 0-0 draw in La Liga on Saturday evening.

Granada and Osasuna both remain firmly rooted in mid-table in La Liga after playing out a goalless draw at Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes on Saturday evening.

Both sides looked to wait for their opponent to show their hand in the opening 15 minutes, but shortly after that Oriol Riera fired a shot wide from just outside the box.

Then came Granada's turn to come close, as Brayan Angulo's deep cross was just taken off the head of Manuel Iturra on the line by Riera.

Youssef El-Arabi caused trouble in the Osasuna box twice, but on both occasions Recio and then Piti put their shots wide.

As the game went on, it was looking more and more likely that one goal would be enough, but the closest either side came in the closing stages was when Piti rifled a shot narrowly wide from range.
